Looking for personalized solutions in higher education? Sounds like a fair question.

DBQ County Fair
One of the most anticipated events across the Midwest each summer is the county fair.  While some individuals enjoy the rides, food, and games, others participate by showing their farm animals in hopes of winning a blue ribbon.  Having just attending the annual county fair in Dubuque, Iowa, it was obvious to me that there is something to engage everyone who attends the fair.

It's no different at Great River Technologies, where our blended learning approach and personalized solutions create online publications to engage all students.  With interactive teaching materials and unique teaching resources, GRT provides instructors and students with personalized solutions specific to their online course creation.

DBQ Fair gamesGiven today's technology in higher education, it's fair to say that instructors don't want to chance their custom learning system to just any digital publishing company.  The main attraction for students is the enhanced learning environment and the ability to access their online publication any time, any where.  And just as pertinent as funnel cakes and ferris wheels are to county fairs, our web support services and instructional technology software significantly adds to GRT's successful approach to classroom collaboration.

GRT natural resource for Organic Chemistry

Saturday, October 23, 2010 by Debbie Brandel
Web based publishing has many benefits for students of all disciplines and Organic Chemistry is no exception.  Associate Professor Matt Dintzner with the Department of Chemistry at DePaul University believes that organic chemistry is web-like, and that the Organic Web is the perfect converge of substance and style, form and function.

Since introducing the Organic Web in the classroom, Dintzner has seen his students' standardized tests scores increase as much as eight points, putting them consistently ahead of the national average.  Students also agree that this personalized course is an invaluable reference and that the Organic Web has helped them to better understand and learn the material.  Read more about Dr. Dintzner's featured story Everything's Connected.

Great River Technologies is proud to be a partner in publishing with Dr. Dintzner.  If you're thinking about creating your own enhanced learning environment or would like more information, view GRT's video approach to publishing or contact us today.
